Bike Parking

Enroll in the SANDAG Bike Parking program to gain access to more than 600 secure bike parking spaces at over 60 locations across the San Diego region. The full list of locations can be found on the Regional Bike Map.

There are two types of bike parking available:

Bike Lockers allow one bike to be parked per space.

Secure group bike parking facilities offer amenities including bike pumps, repair stations, full coverage lighting, and security cameras.

After submitting the enrollment form and a $25 refundable deposit, you will receive a BikeLink card in the mail. Use this card to access secure bike parking throughout the region.

Using Bike Lockers

After you submit your bike locker request form and receive your BikeLink card, follow these instructions to secure your bike. If you need more information regarding the SANDAG Bike Parking Program, please call 511 and select option 5. If you experience any issues with your BikeLink card and need immediate assistance, call eLock Technologies 24-hour support line at 888.540.0546.

How to store your bike

Find a bike locker that is not in use. Available lockers will say “NO CHARGE. PARKING AVAILABLE.”
Insert your BikeLink card face up and chip first.
Press the circular button at the bottom right side of the controller when the screen displays, “PRESS BUTTON TO START RENTAL.” If you want to select a different locker, remove your BikeLink card and start over.
Remove your BikeLink card when the screen displays, “RENTAL STARTED. REMOVE CARD TO OPEN DOOR.” The locker will open automatically.
Insert your bike and close the door. You may leave your bike in the locker for up to four days. You must collect all items from the locker within 10 days or they will be removed and your parking privileges revoked.

If a bike locker reservation is not completed correctly, the locker can be accessed by any BikeLink user.

How to remove your bike

Insert your BikeLink card face up and chip first.
Press the circular button at the bottom right side of the controller when the screen displays, “RETRIEVE BIKE?”
Remove your BikeLink card when the screen displays, “RENTAL ENDED. REMOVE CARD TO OPEN DOOR.” The locker will open automatically.
Retrieve your bike and close the door.
