To advance social equity and economic prosperity in the San Diego region, SANDAG creates and maintains a tremendous amount of data and takes advantage of emerging datasets to better understand the needs of the region. As a data-driven organization, SANDAG is committed to making data publicly and readily available and transparent through the design of a web-based open data portal. This portal is a broad community resource used by member agencies, local government entities, academic institutions, tribes, community-based organizations, stakeholders, and the public.
